Recently, four horses have been rescued. These horses are very thin, and are in need of vet care, hoof care, and rehabilitation. It is estimated their care will cost at least $200 a month each until they can be placed in permanent homes.
FOOD BANK
Silent Voices Equine Rescue has established a food bank in an ongoing effort to temporarily support approved horse owners through economic hard times in order to prevent the seizure of their animals.
Donations to the Food Bank also assist volunteers in caring for rescued horses until they are ready to enter the adoption program.
FOSTER HOMES
We welcome offers from compassionate individuals willing to provide foster homes for horses during rehabilitation. If you have the ability and desire to foster a horse temporarily, please contact us for more information.
